Them Sailors might work long hours in dangerous conditions but they still get a warm cot and 3 hots and that's from a retired old salty Marine. Still respect to those guys but quit your bitching and crying to the public. Bow up and suck it up. Your in the finest Navy in the world.
Doc- former active duty Army soldier here. Saw this yesterday on X: “From a New York Times video about the suffering among sailors deployed on the USS Abraham Lincoln. The caption, in case it's too small to read, says, "They didn't sign up to be on a ship in the middle of the ocean."
We had moldy expired food on our deployments. We never cried to family back home. We sucked it up and moved on. So proud to serve 01-15 before the woke, DEI cry babies. Worked as a contractor after and them kids complained about every little thing. Tried to train them , majority did not want to learn and had the attitude to go with it.
