I felt the same way as#1, about them not being able to fire me, after over 35 years on the job, and knowing every single job in the steel manufacturer plant, including all of the lab jobs. He'll I was even the one who helped write most of the processes on both the air melt floor and the vacuum melt furnaces, where we made steel for the aerospace industry. Turns out I was mistaken. I had been at work for 7 hours, and they sent me for a "random" drug test. They claimed I had alcohol in my system, but I didn't even drink. I asked to see the test results and they told me I had to send a letter from my lawyer to get that. I learned that no one is indispensable. Especially if you are the top paid employee on hourly wages. I am now going to be 65 next month and have been retired for about 8 years.
Among all of them, #50 is the most disturbing. Is that the thing called "Jazz?"
