Unfortunately, it's hard to respect the inhabitant of the office when he is an Anti-American ideal, Muslim Loving, Jew-Hating Race hustler as Obama was. We wanted him to be a leader, not a divider and in turn he has helped out a huge fracture into this country
I have a buddy that worked at WHCA (White House Communication Authority) during GW Bush's term. It was early in his enlisted career and he did a good job. The credentials coming from WHCA got him accepted in the Warrant Officer program. The contacts he made at WHCA helped him get cherry assignments.
If a military member gets on a WH detail of a president that supports the military they have their careers laid out for them and they go far. Not so much for those who serve under Presidents who crap on the military.
