No matter what issues that the liberals have with Pete, I for one love his courage, honor, and mindset. Maybe he is not great at leading a department the size of our military. Who cares, when he can appoint underlings to do those things. Leadership is more about getting his troops to develop the same mindset as he has, and to be willing to follow him into hell, if that is the mission. I had mentors in my high school years that inspired such loyalty. I would have followed my football coach, A former Marine who was wounded twice in Vietnam, into heavy traffic if he asked. Such is the kind of loyalty that men of character inspire.
