When I was in India for work about 8 years ago, I kept buying sodapops from cheap shops that were just plain off in taste. Now I know why! If I bought it at an actual grocery stores (cans), then I would get what I consider normal. But, if it were in bottles, it was always suspicious... Yeah...
this is something I have told people for years. never buy ANYTHING outside the states in a bottle. well, maybe Europe. but anywhere else. you never get what you thought you would. CANS are always your safest bet outside the states. saw this before in the 1970's. when I was with Sam.

And tis is why you take your life in your hands when you travel to ANY turd world country. You can't trust ANYTHING to be safe .
