Yes, I am old enough to remember penny candy and collecting empty pop bottles from the side of the road to buy it. Two cents for regular bottles and five cents for quarts. I'd buy penny pretzels which were two for a penny and a Lunch Bar, which was a full sized chocolate bar with ground peanuts. They cost three cents instead of the five for all the other candy bars. I'd also get licorice shoe laces, candy dots on paper, wax lips, Atomic Fire Balls and Bazooka bubble gum.
Nice yellow tush on 19, 61, nice "Oh, it's you" on 26, nice tush on 30, must've been the Depression generation on 42, nice whipped cream on 56, very cool on 87, nice yellow buxom on 91.
I had to watch that Ali Larter gif a couple of times. She's still hot at 50 in bikini's in Landman so I've read. Thanks for the memes to go along with the babes.

ReplyDeleteCollecting those bottles and selling them got me started on learning about silver pre-65 coinage. God days for sure
