I worked a production platform in 1969. Always felt as if you were going to die. There were 3 sections to a day, one for mosquitoes which covered you, then the flies that bit through clothing, finally the nats, they were the worse.
16,000 dollars a month. Is that starting pay or the top of the pay scale? How many hours a day does that cover? How long do you work during the week for that pay? Heltau
Did that in the seventies... North Sea... much more basic... and hard... and damn cold. Shiver shiver....
