maybe so. but back in the 1980's the clowns in DC sure did. yup. good old boy Johnny and that asshole sidekick Kerry ran the board on the POW/MIA question. they shut it down. told the families to get lost. and hide everything behind TS clearance . yeah. not to be seen until 75 years past. here the bitch of it. in the Paris peace deal, we said we give them 5 billion to rebuild. well. Nixon was out on his ass and Ford was in. no one voted for Ford by the way. anyway. the dims in congress where not going to give Ford the money to pay off the Viets. NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. and like they did with the French, who also didn't want to pay. well, they kept the POWs as insurance that the French would pay. just to get their people back. the French did in the end and the POWs came home. we NEVER paid. so, when I hear this bullshit "never leave a man behind" crap. I wonder if the troops today know how congress fucked over so many guys before them. but, at the command and staff school in the 1980's there where a lot of pissed off officers who KNEW better than the bullshit on TV. all of the POWs left over there , died over there. there is nothing good about the clowns in DC. they do not give one shit about the military and will fuck them in a heartbeat. and that is what I tell the kids around here. do ANYTHING else, stay away from the military. if they don't fuck you, the VA afterwards sure will.
did you know that good old Joe was one of the ones that voted no to getting our people back ? and that is when I really started to loathe congress . burning in hell is way too good for most of them assholes. I have seen pictures of the signs left on the ground that where made by guys they left over there. of course it all buried under TS and above. but some of it got out. I knew a lot of officers that left the military over this bullshit they pulled back then. so, yeah. I have not forgotten them. and I have never forgot or forgiven the assholes who left them there to rot. and that is why I said for years now, if old Vlad would drop a nuke or two on DC, he be doing us and the world a favor.
