The first state in the US to construct roundabouts is New Jersey. They fairly recently began deconstructing them because they are deadly. The State of Colorado fairly recently began constructing them because "expert" traffic engineers in the state said, "They are safe and help keep traffic moving." UFB!!!

They just opened a roundabout here, the road has been straight for 100yrs, there's been a death & six bad wrecks in a few months. Such a stupid idea.
