Have a Ruger 357/38 always and then add something larger when job/outfit allows, generally either a 1911 or Browning HP & extra mag. Pocket knife + a swiss army knife as well.
Depends, some days it's a snub nose .38 if I'm just staying local but if I'm going to the city I wear a Springfield XD40 with extra mag carrier. Hollow points in both. And once in a while I keep a long gun in the back seat. Depends on whether or not I expect feral urban youths to be around.
And what anonymous said about a couple or three knives. And a couple of lighters, a raincoat and TP. Because you never know what's gonna happen out there!
