It's been 17 years. He's lived long enough. I hope Trump listens to Pete and allows it to be televised as it should be. Not only did this asshole commit murder, he committed treason by killing his fellow soldiers. One of the problems with our modern society and why crime has exploded over the last couple centuries and especially the last fifty years is because there's too few executions and NONE of them are public.
IMHO, there's no deterrent like seeing a criminal drop, stop and swing a quarter turn to the right. Firing squad is equally effective. Guillotines also fall into that category.
The sentences also should also be carried about more quickly.
On a death sentence, you should get one appeal by a judge to determine if the criminal got a fair trial with immediate execution of sentence to follow, if still guilty. None of this hanging out on death row for 20, 30, 40 years at taxpayer expense. That does NOT serve justice or the victim or their family.
Hang him like a lowly criminal; publicly humiliate him - split screen his face and lower extremities to show when he voids bladder and bowels - remove his body in a wheeled trash can.
Why not December 24th or 25th?
