One year my mom sent me a card thanking me for my active duty service in the US Army on Memorial Day weekend. I quickly corrected her that that’s what Veterans Day is for.

And Veteran's Day USED to be Armistice Day...a day we celebrated PEACE and an end to a war....oh well.
