My closing thoughts...

  1. Patton also said that he thought we fought on the wrong side in WW2. He died in a car "accident" less than a week after expressing that. It's becoming more obvious by the day that he was right.

    1. I've always been fascinated with Patton since I watching the George C. Scott portrayal as a kid on family classics...

  3. Have an old friend who was hired by IBM because he could talk scientist, engineer, and machinist. The general bureaucracy was really getting to him however and he started carrying an attaché case with a pop up Uzi. You couldn’t argue with him but several weeks of extolling the advantages of retirement vs incarceration and he decided his conference case was better suited for burglars.

  5. Thanks, Doc. Good posts today.
David Eisenhower wrote a book about his father. There is a lot of interesting information is it about General Patton. He and Ike were very close friends. I listen to a lot of books while driving, David narrated the audio book.
