  2. Thank goodness the Little Rascals were at least still being shown on TV when I grew up. They were great fun. And Barbie Benton was hot without a doubt.

    1. Little Rascals was the depths of the Depression. Hardly the good old days.

  3. The Woolworth's in my town was called the 5 and dime. I never knew its real name until I was 6 or 7 and could read.

  4. Of course I ate at Woolworths, I rode my Honda Mini 50 there & my older brother rode his Honda Trail 70. Still have both of them, not as shiny but they still run great.

  6. I was always a fan of Abba Zabbas and Chic-O-Sticks. Don't think I've ever had a Whatchamacallit. Many of these candy bars are still made. The Annabelle Candy company (Abba Zabba) and the Atkinson Candy company (Chic-o-Stick)sells them. You have to buy a case, but getting a case of Chic-o-Sticks once for my birthday was a great surprise and not a bad present for a nostalgia candy lover. If there is a candy from the past that you love, look them up. Somebody likely still makes/sells them.

And if you do love Whatchamacallit, Hershey's still sells them:
