the us navy isn't 250, the continental navy was disbanded in 1785, the navy as it is today was established in 1794, which means the us coast guard is older. Cool coin, though.
Funny. I have a friend who was in the Coast Guard. He spent most of his time doing drug interdiction. But he had some tales to tell of he and his friends partying! Still, thanks for all who served, no matter what branch.
You must know by now that I just post silly shit to make everyone hopefully have a better day, I try to avoid any snowflakes who "trigger" me because in my old age it is not worth the effort to prove to them that they are just simple assholes....
I do know that, which is why I keep checking in, even if i don't comment, it's comfortable here. And in case you didn't know, which is likely, I wore both uniforms. So no heartburn here.
