    I wonder what she thinks now, since the Taliban have been allowed to retake Afghanistan, and we left so much behind.

      What every other war veteran thinks: a total waste of time, money, lives, and resources all for a pointless objective dictated by scumbag politicians who would never risk their own kith or kin for imperial treasure.
