    1. Doc, I served in Kandahar, a lot of my friends served either with me or in Iraq. I never question the value of standing with and honoring my brothers. I question whether the presidents and congresses sending us to war have spent our blood wisely. What did my friends die for? What did we accomplish? Is Iraq any better off today, with Daesh and other islamic groups fighting for control? Are we any better off here at home with refugees and migrants? Are our historical allies better off? What was the return for our blood and treasure? By what metric do we determine success or failure?

    2. Seriously Sir, You may never know the good that you have accomplished. But those who were on the receiving end of all your sacrifices will never forget. Ours is not to question why. OURS IS TO DO OR DIE. YOU SIR, Have DONE so MUCH! Stand Tall, and count your BLESSINGS. You have sacrificed part of your life for others. There can be no greater accomplishment in life without dying for your fellow man. Welcome to the rest of your life Soldier. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, from one Vet to another. STAND TALL SIR!
