My deepest apologies to all......

I've been riding two horses with one ass lately, I have been meaning to post on weekends but sleep seems to interfere with my best laid plans. To all who still stop by to witness my slow spiral into insanity - the trip is just taking a short pause and the ride will resume shortly......

Justice Dept. Still ‘Assessing’ Whether Throwing Pig Legs At Mosque Site is a Federal Hate Crime

CNSNEWS  Federal authorities say they are still “assessing” whether to launch a federal hate crime investigation into an incident in which someone apparently threw three pig legs at the site of a proposed mosque in Southern California, during a Ramadan prayer gathering being held there.

“The FBI has been in contact with members of the Muslim community in the area, and agents are communicating with the Sheriff's Department, which is investigating the incident, to make an assessment with regard to the opening of a federal investigation,” Laura Eimiller, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles field office of the FBI, told CNSNews.com.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, meanwhile, told CNSNews.com only that the U.S. Justice Department was “looking into” the case.

Iran's navy aims to sail off US shores soon

AP The head of Iran's navy says the country aims to put its warships in international waters off the U.S. coast "in the next few years."
The comments Tuesday from Admiral Habibollah Sayyari on state TV are part of Iran's response to Washington's beefed up naval presence in the Persian Gulf.
The U.S. Navy's 5th fleet is based in Bahrain - across the gulf from Iran - and the U.S. plans maritime war games later this month.
Iran has made similar claims in the past that its ships could soon sail into international waters off the U.S. coast.
Tehran and Washington have been in odd over Tehran's nuclear ambitions that the West suspects it has aimed at weapon. Iran denies the charge.

There is no way a third world navy could put warships off our coast, first the requirements for refueling and resupplying make it impossible, secondly Iran has no tradition or experience as a blue water navy, and most importantly the Atlantic has been an American lake for over a hundred years.
